SAMSUNG BD-C6500 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player SALE PRICE!

Very nice design and performance, the best thing is the compatibility with some region free discs from Europe, I really like to buy movies on amazon UK sometimes for better packages or for better prices.

The problem is most of the European region free discs, doesn’t work with players 60hz as the Playstation 3, the Samsung BD-6500 works with 50hz movies! and the best part is that you don’t need a 50hz capable TV! I have tested on my both televisions one capable and other don’t, and on the screen it displays 60hz.

The Samsung convert the content to another frame rate (eg. 60hz) so they don’t need a 50hz compatible TV.

I’m just now enjoying Life (narrated by David Attenborough) from Amazon UK before June 1!

CONS:

I love Samsung but I don’t like the remote control, is very basic and no functional at all, all Samsung devices have a very basic remote control, so I recommend the Logitech Harmony One, I have tested on that player and works great!

Don’t buy that player if you are interested more on the apps performance than the blu-ray performance, I think the reviews I saw is not fair with that player, give a one star because Netflix or Pandora doesn’t works perfect is not right!

I seen a lot of blu-ray players more expensive, with out internet, and costumers giving 5 stars, I think the main use of the player should be blu-ray and not netflix or pandora.

Internet apps are a plus, nothing more.

I would highly recommend this to anyone based on my own experience with it.
